Important Kindergarten Registration Information

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

School registration for all children entering kindergarten next year and all first graders not currently enrolled in a Chelmsford Kindergarten will be on the following dates:
 
  February 14, 2017; 10am-2pm
 February 15, 2017;  3pm-7pm
 February 16, 2017;  3pm-7pm
 

 

 
Chelmsford Public Schools will have full day kindergarten beginning September 2017.

Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2017.  Students entering first grade must be 6 years of age on or before August 31, 2017.

    A Message for current Grade 3 Parents In accordance with Massachusetts General Law (Chapter 71, section 57) and related amendments and regulations (105 CMR 200.000-200.920), Chelmsford requires all 3rd grade students to have a current physical on file in our health office.  Grade 3 students should have a physical dated January 2016 to December 2016 and a copy needs to be submitted to the health office by December 2016.

    ARRIVAL/DISMISSAL
    Please click on the links below for information on our arrival and dismissal procedures and to download a copy of the permanent pick-up slip.
     

     

    ABSENCES
    If your student will be absent, a parent or guardian must call the office with the reason for their absence.   If you are calling outside the school hours, please use extension 1 (one) off the main menu.  If a student has been recorded as absent and we have not received a call the school office will call the student's contacts to verify the absence.
