     SUMMERFEST AT A GLANCE -

The fun continues in our childcare program over the summer! Summerfest is held in the Center Elementary School — it’s air-conditioned, has a great playground, sports area, computer lab, and lots more!!!! Our program will be traveling the
world in our own mini “Amazing Race”. The children will receive passports as we learn about different crafts, games and activities from countries/ continents around the world. The best part is they won’t know they are learning because we will be having so much fun!

Summerfest just keeps getting better and better! This year we have added TaeKwonDo as a club choice and we are thrilled to have our art and science specialist’s returning. For our older participants, the 5th and 6th graders, we are
offering weekly tennis lessons coached by the Next Champions staff on the South Row courts. We will have a few special events lined up for the younger children as well. Fun field trips are scheduled for all to participate in again this year, but we also have included a couple trips especially for the children based on their grade levels.

Registering for Summerfest is done online, but to make the registration process complete, you will also need to fill out additional permission slips etc. which will be made available on our website (See list above).

Chelmsford Community Education's Summerfest provides an exciting summer vacation program that fosters new and existing friendships between children, as well as individual exploration and discovery. We believe that summer is a time for kids to be kids. We teach our children how to be members of a group, in a manner that encourages independence, creativity and personal growth. We believe that by offering engaging and varied opportunities for our students to socialize and learn, our participants take away memories and lessons that last forever.
