South Row had their “kick off” grade level meetings on Monday September 8th. During this meeting, all of the PRIDE core values were reviewed. We are focused this month on Perseverance, which at South Row means that, “We are working hard and not giving up, even when something gets difficult.” This is the perfect core value for the start of the school year where students are in new classrooms with new teachers, new classmates and new curriculum. The possibilities are endless! We read the story I Knew You Could, A Book For All the Stops in Your Life. This book reminded us of The Little Engine that Could and Oh, The Places You’ll Go. This year, the South Row School will focus on putting together a PRIDE matrix that describes what each core value looks like throughout our school in our classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, recess and the bus.
