The Chelmsford Special Education Department is currently under the direction of Amy Reese, Director of Student Services. The Department provides specially designed instruction and related services for students with disabilities who are eligible for services under an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The staff provides services needed to enable each student to access the general education curriculum and achieve success in school. Services include specially designed academic instruction and study skills support for instruction received in the general curriculum. In addition, related services such as speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, counseling, and adaptive physical education are provided based on individual student needs.
The Special Education Central Office is located within the Chelmsford High School at 200 Richardson Road, North Chelmsford, MA 01863. The Office coordinates services for all of the Chelmsford Public Schools at every grade level.
